LECTURE CONTENT:

1. Development of Paleolithic cultures along the Nile River Valley, and the Great Rift Valley. We will review Odawan,
Archulian, Tasian, Badarian, and Mustrian stone tool industries.

2. Pre-dynastic periods reviewed with a focus on early artifacts and an attempt to give a chronological perspective of the art
and architecture of the Nagada I, II, and III positions in the development of the art and architecture of dynastic Egypt.

3. Kush the birth place of the Gods of ancient Kemet. The Nubian high culture and its effects on Nile valley civilization.
The foundation of art and architecture that reached its zenith in Egypt. As a result the civilizing of other cultures such as:
The Greeks, Romans, Assyrians, Babylonians, and the Hindus Kush Valleys, all of whom have benefited from the culture
of the Nubians who in fact established the canons of art and architecture, and set the standards for world art history.
